Design & Illustration

G Road’s Design & Illustration program is a unique opportunity for youth, ages 10-17, to learn from experienced professionals about many different aspects of design-focused industries, including fashion and architecture. From creativity to sales, this program is one-of-a-kind experience that allows participants to dive into a field otherwise inaccessible.

The program is being led by Justin Novak, founder and principal of NVK Design. Justin is an experienced architect with a masters degree from ASU’s Architecture School and is also the Chairman of the G Road Board of Directors. 

G Road’s Design & Illustration Program’s goal this year is to add value to the spaces we occupy. Our environment plays an important role in our development as individuals and as a collective. We aim to make a colorful splash in our community while “drawing” attention back to the youth and the challenges they face. We are teaming up with some of our favorite local artists to develop murals in some of our favorite places in the neighborhood this semester. This is gonna be fun!
